Located by Ballona Creek, a vital waterway connecting communities, the building integrates a midcentury modern design while blurring the line between workplace and research laboratory. 

Emphasizing collaboration, the design prioritizes transparency over traditional closed-door approaches. Armata’s space promotes immediate and constant workplace collaboration, fostering a mindset that accelerates progress through scientific teamwork. The facility features a symbolic portal connecting workstations and laboratories, signifying the evolution of biological research.  

Spanning two floors, the office environment seamlessly integrates labs, private offices, and breakout areas, creating a modern and relaxed research-focused environment. People-centered amenities like lounges, breakout rooms, and flexible spaces enhance collaboration. A state-of-the-art kitchen and cafe serve dual purposes, offering an escape from work and hosting internal meetings.
